March 13, 2020
Friday, March 13, 2020 was the first day that I was asked to work from home by my part-time employer. I was already used to working from home with my projects, unless I was out in the field building relationships, teaching, or any of the other things that make up a prolific portfolio for an artist. I'd been keeping up globally with what was occurring with Covid-19 and knew that we were all going to be in this for awhile. As much as I'd hoped to be out and about by April, deep down I knew that wasn't going to be the case.
I took on a solo art project for funsies and to avoid future boredom, build relationship with my body again, and it was a more creative endeavor than carving strikes into a wall.
I began the project on Saturday, March 14, 2020 and I've continued everyday since then PLUS some bonus shots. Since then, museums later in the month began offering a similar challenge to their patrons. I'd like to think that I'm the OG of this particular version of living tableaux and I dare someone to tell me otherwise.
I have three rules for #quARTantine2020:
1. Use only what I have in my home
2. Use as little to no filter if possible
3. No special equipment (which I don't have anyway)

Enjoy and happy creating!

Note: Credit to artists are listed below the photos and I have no intention on making money off of the original artworks that belong to the artists and their estates.
